AZINNEX OPENED MULTIMEDIA CENTER IN THE "UMID YERI" CHILDREN'S SHELTER

 

On the date of June 2 members of AZINNEX visited "Umid yeri" children's shelter located in Bina settlement and met with the children deprived of parental care there within the framework of the social responsibility program. At the same time, opening ceremony of the Multimedia Center organized by AZINNEX occurred in order to establish knowledgebase on information technology for children, formation of an idea about the importance of technology, and adaptation of modern standards to educational process . The room used as a common area has been equipped with modern equipment and furniture. A large screen, computer, and printer have been installed here to conduct lessons in electronic format.

Shabnam Mammadova, the representative of SAPSSI (State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations) made speech in the opening ceremony of the Center, spoke about importance of this attempt, support of the State Agency to such kind of events. The children were informed that trainings will be held in the Multimedia Center in order to formulate their primary vocational skills on a regular basis under preparation for life.

Then members of the AZINNEX Supervisory Board, Mahammad Zulfugarli and Jabir Jumshudov made speech there, spoke to the children about importance of information technologies, contemporary trends and future career choices in this direction. Interesting speech of the speakers continued with answering to many questions of the children.

Then training on robotics was held in the Center by Step IT Academy. The training was highly appreciated by the children and led to their active participation. 4 children selected due to their activity during training will attend in the summer campus of the Academy with support by member companies.

Representatives of AZINNEX got acquainted with the children more closely and were able to raise their mood with holiday gifts brought by member companies.  

At the end of meeting, head of "Umid yeri" children's shelter expressed his gratitude to the Consortium representatives on behalf of the children.
